The FEDIAF Code of Good Labelling Practice covers more than labelling alone. It incorporates guidance on the three basic functions of product communication: consumer information on product use, control and enforcement, retail and marketing.

The Code is intended to be used as a practical guide to the labelling and marketing pet food and should be read in conjunction with relevant EU legislation. The latest revision of the Code was published in October 2019.

The Code continues to be periodically reviewed, and further revisions will be published as necessary.
