Improving children’s understanding and appreciation of wild birds

At UK Pet Food we are keen to improve children’s understanding and appreciation of wild birds and encourage them to interact with nature.
We've created a set of beautifully designed materials which we've developed alongside teachers and our members.
Our worksheets include activites that can be used by KS2 teachers, as well as by parents or carers at home, encouraging children to count birds and write about the different types, and at the same time help improve children's numeracy and literacy skills!

If your children need some entertaining at a weekend or during the holidays, why not spend time spotting birds, record numbers on our beautiful Top Ten birds worksheet and then get them to create a poster of their favourite wild bird!
