UK Pet Food (formerly the Pet Food Manufacturers' Association or PFMA) is dedicated to advancing pet health and well-being through high-quality nutrition from a sustainable, progressive pet food industry. As a united association of pet food manufacturers, suppliers, and industry partners, our diverse membership works collaboratively to raise the bar in pet nutrition.
Our members, who represent over 90% of the UK pet food market, share a common goal: to provide optimal nutrition for the nation's pets. Together, we support each other in this mission, striving to continuously improve standards and foster responsible pet food manufacturing.
By working closely with expert teams of members, we also offer valuable educational resources on pet nutrition and the production of quality pet food, ensuring our industry remains at the forefront of pet care.
We have been members since 2007. In the early years of our membership the information supplied by UK Pet Food was of great assistance as we guided ourselves through the process of product registration and approval. Over the past few years as Brexit loomed, UK Pet Food were a constant supply of information to make sure we were abreast with all developments as they happened.
UK Pet Food offers an incredible service not only in the time of crisis, but in an ever evolving and developing world of new legislative constructs and uncertain times.
